Before I start, allow me to show off my new baby,
the Holga 135BC. It’s light(but not as light and
slim as my BSD) but fat. Convenience to bring
around? I’d rate it moderate. I bought the camera
and hand strap Thirty-six, with an additional
Wide angle lens (from Peek!)

The images turned out exactly like what the other
forums have warned me:

1. Aim higher. Otherwise, the images get cropped
off.


2. It feeds a lot on light. I make sure that I
shoot on a bright sunny day. Otherwise, it’d be
underexposed. But then again, there’s the ‘B’
setting, so no worries. Pictures below will explain
further.

This turned out quite well. Held a app. 1m
away with my Holga 15B flash. (arm’s length)

I took this before doing my research. It’s
an overcast day. Shot taken from indoors
window. Taken in ‘B’ mode for nearly 8 seconds.
Holy cow, that’s overexposed!

The BC (Black Corner) effect under bright
lighting turned out pretty well too (:

Well…maybe accept for this one below. It’s
taken indoors on ‘B’ mode with no sunlight
seeping in.

I quite like this one, if not for my ‘accidental’
double exposure with red flash. Otherwise,
the scene @ Thieves Street would have looked
nice.According to forums, Cross processed
pictures usually surprise you with high
saturation/colour shifts.

Supreme Black Corner. Hah!

A bunch of bikers. I had to be fast with this
shot. I realised I was on ‘1 PERSON MODE’
when this scene was at least a good 6 meter
away. But it turned out well ,regardless.

Overall, I had fun with this little fat
toy camera. I was worried that I’d waste my
money on the first film (being a pro film
and all) since I’m not familiar with the
camera yet. But the results where rather pleasing.
